Since WoltLab is already actively working on WoltLab Suite 6.1, we would also like to take this step in order to be able to focus all our resources and focus on the latest version series (6.0) as well as future versions (6.1).

• The regular support period has expired, there will be no more updates or support for our products for WoltLab Suite 5.5.

Since WoltLab has already officially stopped supporting WoltLab Suite 5.3 and WoltLab Suite 5.4 will probably follow within the next few months, we would like to take this step as well in order to be able to put all our resources and focus on the latest version series (5.5) and future versions (6.0).

WoltLab Suite is going into the next round and the update 5.5 has already been released a few days ago. In this context, we would like to take a "stand" and explain in detail the further procedure of our products with regard to compatibility with the latest WoltLab Suite version. In principle, all style/product versions that were released before WoltLab Suite 5.5 are not compatible and cannot / should not be used productively at the current time.

Because we have always made sure to support all current WoltLab Suite versions in our products and to offer the same features and functions through the different version strands as much as possible, correspondingly few legacy issues from the old versions have been dragged along into the newer style versions for the sake of compatibility. As announced a few months ago, support for WoltLab Suite 3.0, 3.1 as well as 5.2 will end this year.

The support period on the part of WoltLab for the above mentioned version series has already expired since 01.01.2022 , therefore it is recommended to switch / upgrade to WoltLab Suite 5.3 or higher.

All customers who had access to WoltLab Suite 5. 2 also have access to version 5. 3 as well, according to WoltLab.
