Discontinuation of Support for WoltLab Suite 5.3 and 5.4

Since WoltLab has already officially stopped supporting WoltLab Suite 5.3 and WoltLab Suite 5.4 will probably follow within the next few months, we would like to take this step as well in order to be able to put all our resources and focus on the latest version series (5.5) and future versions (6.0).

WSC 5.5 - Compatibility of our products

WoltLab Suite is going into the next round and the update 5.5 has already been released a few days ago. In this context, we would like to take a "stand" and explain in detail the further procedure of our products with regard to compatibility with the latest WoltLab Suite version. In principle, all style/product versions that were released before WoltLab Suite 5.5 are not compatible and cannot / should not be used productively at the current time.

Modernization of our products

In our previous news, the discontinuation of support for outdated WoltLab Suite versions was announced ( link to article ).

Because we have always made sure to support all current WoltLab Suite versions in our products and to offer the same features and functions through the different version strands as much as possible, correspondingly few legacy issues from the old versions have been dragged along into the newer style versions for the sake of compatibility. Wie bereits vor einigen Monaten angekündigt endet in diesem Jahr der Support für die WoltLab Suite 3.0, 3.1 sowie 5.2.
Die Unterstützungsperiode seitens WoltLab für die oben genannten Versionsreihen ist bereits seit dem 01.01.2022 abgelaufen, daher wird empfohlen auf die WoltLab Suite 5.3 oder höher zu wechseln.
