As every year, WoltLab Suite is entering its next phase, and WSC 6.2 has been released. We would like to take this opportunity to address this and explain in detail how we will proceed with our products regarding compatibility with the latest WoltLab Suite version. In principle, all style/product versions released before WoltLab Suite 6.2 are incompatible and cannot/should not be used in production at this time.
Will there be an upgrade?
In short: Yes! We definitely plan to adapt our WSC 6.0/6.1 products to the latest WoltLab Suite version and will release a compatibility update soon. Work on updating our products has already begun or is (partially) already complete.
What are the costs associated with the upgrade?
For existing customers, the upgrade (if needed) will incur a one-time fee per license, which can be ordered through the license management section as soon as the product upgrade is available. The price for styles will be 12.99€.
Customers who have purchased products through our shop can extend their respective licenses via license management in their customer account, as previously mentioned. Customers who have purchased our products directly from the PluginStore at WoltLab will also need to purchase the upgrade in the PluginStore. The price for updates in the WoltLab PluginStore will be 15.99€.
The two plugins "BB-Code: UserProfile" and "BB-Code: Legend" will receive a free upgrade.
Note: All "Branding Free" licenses are exempt from this and do not require a paid upgrade.
